Though Kentucky isn't one of the states listed, I as a dog owner and pet care provider am vigilant in making sure no infected dogs come to my property. I ask that anyone looking to board please make sure that your dog doesn't have any symptoms of this illness. If you are taking your dog to the vet for the required vaccines of Bordetella, make sure to have your vet also make note for my records that there are no signs of this respiratory illness that is spreading across the country. It will be mandatory for anyone that is coming to board from out of state, especially from any of the states with reported cases. To help decrease the spread of this illness keep your dogs away from others and don't frequent dog parks. Keep your dogs safe and healthy.
Wolf Pack Dog Training & Animal Care uses Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) to clean surfaces between boarders. It is the best at sanitizing and is non-toxic for animals. It is even good for wound care as an antibacterial, I have used it on my animals and myself.
